  • Primelase laser light technology - Light radiation wavelength 810nm USED FOR HAIR REMOVAL is naturally attracted to dark colours or in respect to hair, melanin. The reaction of light absorption into something dark is a HEAT response. This is why why tennis and cricket players wear a white uniform for sports - to reflect light and keep cool. Dark hair (brown or black) responds beautifully to laser light...and unfortunately the colours that don't respond well are white, grey, blonde and some auburn hair. By absorbing powerful laser light, the hair basically destroys itself through the heat it creates. This in turn kills the follicle bed and blood supply, which permanently stops the follicle from producing any further hair growth.

  • Primelase can be used on a dynamic setting to make the treatment virtually pain free, however from experience, more effective hair clearance is usually associated with higher power from the beginning of a course of treatment. Most people describe the sensation as a small elastic band snap, others say its like a small amount of hair wax being 'stripped' off the area. Either way, we would only use an effective and tolerable level to get you to the best and quickest hair clearance possible. Some mild temporary redness and folecular swelling may occur after a treatment -this is normal and usually a good sign of an effective treatment!

  • An average of 6 treatments per area is usually recommended for 90-98% hair reduction - however some may need more depending on natural hormone levels. The treatments are usually booked 4-10 weeks apart depending on area to be treated.

  • A test patch is recommended before a full treatment to ensure the levels are safe and effective for a hair clearance result. The full treatment can then be booked as soon as 24-72 hours after the test patch. To book a test patch, a fee of £50 would need to be taken which is redeemable off your first treatment/course.
