WHAT IS Profhilo Structura®?  

Profhilo Structura® is a hybrid hyaluronic acid (HA) formulation designed for deep dermal bio-restructuring and volume restoration in skin that has lost firmness and definition.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers that focus on adding targeted volume, Profhilo Structura uses a unique hybrid cooperative complex of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid

Profhilo® Structura is an advanced injectable treatment designed to restore structure, support and definition to areas affected by volume loss — particularly the mid and lower face. Its function is to:

  • Support volumetric lift in areas of structural depletion 

  • Strengthen tissue quality by improving skin firmness through collagen and elastin stimulation 

  • Enhance hydration and elasticity 

  • Improve overall facial harmony / Subtly rebuild facial contours while maintaining a natural, soft look.

Structura works deeper than the standard Profhilo, making it ideal for clients experiencing age-related sagging, hollowing, or loss of support. The result is a refreshed, lifted appearance without heaviness, overfilling or an artificial look.

The recommended protocol is two sessions spaced four weeks apart, with a maintenance treatment at six months.

  • Profhilo Structura is injected into specific anatomical points to reinforce the deep dermal layers and stimulate strong collagen and elastin production. It improves the skin’s biomechanical properties, helping to restore volume, support tissues and enhance facial shape. The hybrid HA complex flows smoothly through deeper layers for structural improvement where traditional injectables may be less suitable.

    Over time, the treatment enhances skin firmness, elasticity and definition — giving a rejuvenated yet completely natural result.

  • Most people are in treatment for approximately 30 mins - 20 mins numbing cream for comfort and 10 minute treatment.

  • Downtime is minimal. You may experience slight redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection points, which usually settle within 24–48 hours. Aftercare typically includes:

    • Avoiding makeup for 24 hours

    • Avoiding heat, saunas and intense exercise for 48 hours

    • Keeping the area clean and protected

    • Using gentle skincare and daily SPF

    Your practitioner will provide full aftercare guidance during your appointment.

  • Most clients benefit from an initial course of 2 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on the level of support required. Maintenance is typically recommended every 6–9 months, although this varies from person to person.

  • Reported side effects are mild and self-resolving:

    • Erythema 

    • Swelling 

    • Tenderness at injection sites 

    Contraindications include pregnancy, breastfeeding, active infection or inflammation, and known hypersensitivity to HA.
