FAQs

  • Numbing cream will be applied on the treatment areas 30 mins prior to treatment. Then using Plaxel + technology, the practitioner will then commence to create small pin prick wounds in the skin in uniform lines to influence the best result in skin tightening via healing skin/collagen/fibroblast production.  

  • This is not a mild treatment and patients must be prepared for moderate to severe swelling in areas such as the under eye or upper eye lids for about 24-48 hours. Scab formation can last for up to 10 days. There is approximately 1 week downtime with this procedure depending on area treated and natural healing ability.  

  • Results can be seen anytime from 2 weeks to 6 weeks post procedure. Its usually advised that some patients may require up to 3 treatments to achieve the desired result. However, everyone is different and some people see amazing results with just one treatment!  

  • When compaired to other Plasma pens, the Plaxel+ is less painful and the post procedure swelling is also far less. This is due to the advanced plasma pure BLUE energy which causes less plumage and more controlled skin injury than when compared the orange electric (fake!) plasma energy. As the swelling is less, recovery time is usually half that of a normal Plasma treatment.
